Brian O'Toole Brian O'Toole

Brian O'Toole is serving his third, four-year term on the North Dakota Wheat Commission, representing wheat growers in the northeastern portion of the state. He was elected as Pembina County's representative in 2002.

O'Toole is the current chairman of U.S. Wheat Associates. He represents the Commission as liaison to the North Dakota Crop Improvement Association. He serves on the board of directors of the Wheat Marketing Center, Portland, Ore., and is chairman of the SBARE Wheat Granting Committee.

O'Toole is the northeast district director for the North Dakota Crop Improvement and Seed Association, and chairs their Research and Extension Committee. He has served on the board of the Pembina County Farm Bureau and the Crystal Co-Op Elevator. He is the president of T.E. O'Toole Farm Seed Company.

He and his wife, Sara, raise wheat, edible beans and sugarbeets on their farm near Crystal. They have four children.
