Strive to make half your grains whole each day
The 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend that
at least half our servings of grain be whole grain
- or 3 to 5 servings of whole grain each day. Eating whole grains like whole wheat have been shown to reduce the risks of heart disease, stronke, cancer, diabetes and obesity.
