Wheat Groups to Host 2020 Virtual Durum Update
Wheat Groups to Host 2020 Virtual Durum Update
Posted:
Aug 07 2020
As harvest time approaches for the U.S. Northern durum crop, domestic and international customers are anxious to get the latest crop information. With most in person meetings and events on hold this year, many in the industry will miss the opportunity to see the crop potential first hand. To provide an update to customers and others in the industry, the ND Wheat Commission and US Durum Growers Association will be hosting a virtual durum update on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. CST.
The two grower groups, along with Montana wheat officials and producers, will provide an update on the crop conditions, production and quality outlook and other important issues that have affected the 2020 crop. Extension experts will provide agronomic and disease updates, and producers will provide in-field video shots and a first-hand discussion of crop conditions and maturity levels throughout the durum region.
The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom and a link will be sent to registered participants prior to the seminar. Click
